We are in this together!

Community
Community at Wellbeing Wigan

On Saturday, (after gratefully completing some super interesting CPD with Yoga by Rose – about the POWER of our feet, so watch this space for some of this appearing in upcoming classes!), we went along to Wellbeing Wigan’s Community Open day. Despite having missed most of the day, there was a real buzz about the place, and it was so nice to hear everyone’s amazing feedback about how good the day was and how everyone was able to check out all of the great things on offer at Wellbeing Wigan.

“Wellbeing is defined by the Oxford English Dictionary as “the state of being comfortable, healthy, or happy.” However, it is important to realise that wellbeing is a much broader concept than moment-to-moment happiness. While it does includes happiness, it also includes other things, such as how satisfied people are with their life a whole, their sense of purpose, and how in control they feel.” https://www.mentalhealth.org.uk/blog/what-wellbeing-how-can-we-measure-it-and-how-can-we-support-people-improve-it

Everything that we do at Wellbeing Wigan embodies this quote from The Mental Health Foundation, and harps back to my previous blogging content about Santosha (contentment).

You can check out everything that we have to offer here, we offer so much, from holistic therapies, to yoga, to social events, or just a cup of tea and a friendly smile and chat if you want a listening ear.

So, in the spirit of COMMUNITY WELLBEING, this Friday for International Day of Yoga, I am offering a FREE yoga class at Wellbeing Wigan so that you can all get the chance to see what yoga can do for you. I look forward to seeing you there!
